Man arrested in connection with woman's death released

A man arrested in connection with the sudden death of a woman found dead at a house on Sunday has been released.

The 47-year-old was detained on Tuesday after a post-mortem examination on the woman’s body revealed injuries.

She was found dead at a home at Lacken View, Naas, Co Kildare, and the man was known to her.

A Garda spokesman said the man was released from custody last night and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
