Army declare embassy device a false alarm

The suspect device at the Israeli Embassy in Dublin has been declared a false alarm.

An Army bomb disposal team was called to the embassy at lunchtime.

Gardaí were notified following the discovery of a suspect device at the building on Pembroke Road.

They requested the services of the Defence Forces, who are now at the scene.
