Gardaí investigate M1 accident

Gardaí are investigating a crash on the M1 northbound at Drogheda.

A number of people were injured in the collision, which happened at around 3pm this afternoon, but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Motorists heading northbound on the M1 are asked to divert at junction 10 and they can rejoin the motorway at junction 12.

Those injured have been taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
