Rose of Tralee festival kicks-off

The 2012 Rose of Tralee International Festival, one of Ireland's largest and longest running festivals, is underway in Co Kerry.

The event sees young women of Irish descent from around the world come to Tralee.

All 32 Roses arrived there yesterday for the Gala Rose Ball last night.

The festival includes street entertainment, live concerts, theatre, circus, markets, funfair, fireworks and our internationally renowned Rose Parade.
