Man to appear in court tomorrow on Geoghegan murder charge

A man is to appear in court in the morning charged with the murder of Shane Geoghegan.

Mr Geoghegan was shot dead near his home in Limerick in 2008, in a case of mistaken identity.

Gardaí are to charge a 30 year-old Limerick man with the 28 year-old rugby player's murder tomorrow.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has directed the man be charged before the Special Criminal Court in Dublin.
