Interim examiner appointed to Cappoquin Poultry
An interim examiner has been appointed to Cappoquin Poultry Ltd and Cappoquin Poultry Holdings Ltd - companies which have debts of €6m.
The High Court appointed Michael McAteer of Grant Thornton as examiner, after a key supplier to the companies, Henry Goode & Sons, petitioned for the move.
It is understood that supplier Henry Goode Ltd is owed about €3.9m for chicken feed.
Cappoquin Poultry Ltd employs more then 130 people at its factory in Waterford.
