Floods subside as disruption continues on some rail routes

AA Roadwatch has said flooding which caused havoc for motorists in parts of the midlands and south this morning is now starting to subside.

However, one lane of the M7 Limerick/Dublin Road remains closed northbound between Junction 21 Borris-in-Ossory and Junction 19 on the M8 due to a lot of surface water on the road.
