Reilly to sign agreement with Chinese health counterpart

Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly, will visit China this week to speak at the China Health Conference.

Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly, will visit China this week to speak at the China Health Conference.

Minister Reilly was invited by his Chinese counterpart, Mr Chen Zhu, and they will both sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Ireland and China on co-operation in the Health Sector.

A number of representatives from Irish medical institutes will accompany the minister.

Speaking of the visit, Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore said it is an opportunity to add further impetus to the development of relations between Ireland and China.
