Sun to apply for a stay on Walsh entitlement to view documents
The Sun is to apply for a stay on an order directing it to disclose documents to Louis Walsh, who is suing the newspaper.
Walsh claims he was defamed by an article on June 23rd last year headlined 'Louis probed over sex attack on man in loo'.
Walsh's accuser, Leonard Watters, is now serving 6 months in jail for making false reports to gardaÃ.
Louis Walsh was today granted discovery of documents in connection with his claim that a journalist at the tabloid offered Watters money for making a complaint to gardaÃ.
This is strenuously denied by the newspaper.
