The bodies of two men have been found in South Belfast in the last 24 hours.

The bodies of two men have been found in South Belfast in the last 24 hours.

Police uncovered a body in the Saintfield Road shortly before 11.30am this morning.

They had been searching for a missing person and aren't treating the death as suspicious

Meanwhile, the body of a 44-year-old man was found in the Botanic Avenue area of the city on last night.

Postmortems will take place tomorrow to identify the men and establish the cause of death.
