Dept of Finance announces new head of Banking Policy

The Department of Finance has announced its first ever head of Banking Policy in its Financial Services Division.

It is a newly created position and was announced in a restructuring plan at the division in May of this year.

The job has gone to John Hogan, who has held a number of positions in the department in the past, and played a key role in preparing the Keane report on Mortgage Arrears, which was published last October.
