IMPACT concerned about new Child Support and Family Agency

IMPACT trade union has expressed concern about the new Child Support and Family Agency.

It has said that it will co-operate with the transfer of 4,000 child and family support staff to the new agency - which will be set up next year.

But it said that adequate resources are needed to improve child services.

The agency will be independent and have it's own budget - and CEO Designate Gordon Jeyes said it will provide a more integrated and streamlined approach.
