Top chefs showcase their best food at Irish Examiner festival
Some of Cork's best restaurants will be showcasing their dishes this weekend at the The Irish Examiner Food Festival, which returns to Fitzgerald's Park in Cork city, and will run until Sunday.
A number of the country's top chefs - including Rachel and Darina Allen and Paolo Tullio - will be demonstrating their cooking skills.
There will also be musical entertainment and a kids zone.
Speaking to Cork's RedFM, organiser Philip Ryan says they're hoping the sunny weather continues - but they're prepared if it doesn't: "It is Ireland so we've got a couple of thousand ponchos ready to go out just in case it does rain.
"There is a lot of coverage on site and a lot of the restaurants are pushed back from the marquees so there's lots of seating areas in the marquees this year as well.
