Vita Cortex workers to visit Áras
Former Vita Cortex workers will visit Áras an Uachtaráin this afternoon.
President Michael D. Higgins invited them former staff to visit the Áras following the successful resolution of their dispute over outstanding redundancy payments.
SIPTU members occupied the foam manufacturing plant at Kinsale Road in Cork for 161 days before the sit-in ended on Thursday , May 24.
The workers, their families and a number of SIPTU representatives will meet President Higgins at 2.30pm.
