An Post worker shot in Dublin raid
A post office staff member has been injured in a shooting in Dublin this morning.
Two armed and masked raiders entered the post office on Bunting Rd., Crumlin at about 9.30am.
They threatened staff, and a shot was discharged, injuring one employee in the face.
The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken.
In a separate incident, a substantial amount of cash was stolen in an armed raid on a security van outside the Lidl supermarket on Thomas Street in Dublin this morning.
No arrests have been made in relation to either incident so far and gardaĆ are appealing for information
