A ceremony was taking place in Dublin this morning to honour all the Irish men and women who died in past wars or on service with the United Nations.

Hundreds of people gathered at the national commemoration event at Collins Barracks, including President Michael D Higgins, Taoiseach Enda Kenny and relatives of the deceased.
