Man held after seven stabbed during Dublin concert

A 23-year-old man has been arrested following separate stabbing incidents at the concert in the Phoenix Park in Dublin last night.

Gardaí are investigating after separate knife attacks broke out at the concert between 8.30pm and 1am.

Seven people - all men in their late teens and 20s - were stabbed.

Gardaí say a number of people were taken to hospital for treatment, but all have since been discharged except for one man in his late 20s who is still receiving treatment at Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown.

His condition is still unknown.

The arrested man is currently being questioned at Blachardstown Garda Station, under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Over 45,000 fans attended yesterday's concert in the Phoenix Park, which featured acts such as Snoop Dog, Tinie Tempah and Swedish House Mafia.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
