Final defence witness testifies in McAreavey trial

The final defence witness has testified in the trial of two men accused of murdering honeymooner Michaela McAreavey in Mauritius.

A representative of a phone company confirmed that a call from a phone owned by defendant Sandip Moneea was made just after 2.45pm on the day the Co Tyrone teacher was strangled in her room in the luxury Legends hotel.
