Ulster Bank has said that the technical problems which have affected over 150,000 customers could continue into next week.

The technical fault, which occurred almost three weeks ago, has led to a backlog of unprocessed transactions, which will be increased further today when 48,000 monthly child benefit payments are due to be paid to Ulster Bank customers.
