Education Minister Ruairi Quinn will today announce the introduction of an 'Education Passport'.

The move will see that students' report cards are sent from primary to secondary schools.

The Irish Vocational Education Association is welcoming the announcement as it believes it will help schools meet student needs more effectively, particularly those of young people with special education needs.
