Two men who killed a young teacher in an attack described as "cowardly, brutal and grossly violent" have had two years added to their sentences by the Court of Criminal Appeal.

Harry Dinan of Waterpark Heights, Ennis and his nephew Kevin Dinan, of Clarehill, Clarecastle, were originally jailed for five and four years respectively, having pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Brian Casey on O'Connell Square, Ennis, on St Stephen's Day, 2009.
