Varadkar hoping Coalition won't renege on pre-election promises

A Government Minister has said he hopes the Coalition will be able to keep its promise not to hike up income tax and cut social welfare, but he said he cannot predict the future.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar made the comment after reports today that the Coalition is considering reneging on committments it made in its programme for Government.
