The body of James Nolan, who died tragically in Poland last week, has been brought home to his family in County Wicklow.

The body of James Nolan, who died tragically in Poland last week, has been brought home to his family in County Wicklow.

The 21-year-old student drowned after he fell into a river in the city of Bydgoszcz during celebrations for the Euro 2012 tournament.

Mr Nolan's body is reposing at his home in Carrig Glen, Blessington, this evening for removal tomorrow evening at 8.30pm to the Church of Our Lady.

His funeral mass will take place on Monday morning at 11am, followed by burial in Burgage Cemetery.

A book of condolences has been opened for Mr Nolan by the local soccer club Blessington FC.
