Reports of better bailout deal 'simply not true'

The European Commission has dismissed a report suggesting the Troika is considering giving Ireland a better bailout deal.

A Commission spokesman said the report which claimed that Ireland would get extra time to pay back the country's rescue loans is "simply not true".
