Exhibition to celebrate Crawford building centenary

CIT Crawford College of Art and Design hosts the 2012 degree show tonight, marking the building’s 100th anniversary as an educational institute.

'Exxit' is the Cork college's 20th degree show, and will feature the work of 53 students.

The exhibition, at Sharman Crawford Street, opens this evening at 6pm, and continues until Saturday June 23, opening from 11am-6pm (*Sun 12-6pm).

Aideen Barry, Irish artist and visiting lecturer at CIT Crawford College of Art and Design, will open the show.

Gavin Delahunty, a graduate of CCAD, and currently head of exhibitions and Displays at Tate Liverpool, is the keynote speaker.
