Olympic torch on way to Dublin
Gardaí are advising motorists of rolling road closures in parts of Dublin tomorrow morning during the Olympic torch relay.
The flame will cross the border at 6.30am tomorrow, before an official welcoming ceremony with President Michael D Higgins in Howth at 8am.
The three-hour run will begin at Croke Park shortly after 9am, travelling through Dublin city centre to Rathmines and Harolds Cross before returning to St Stephen's Green at 11.45am.
Chief Superintendent Aiden Reid from the Garda Traffic Bureau said disruption on the roads would be minimal.
"As soon as the relay goes through, the roads will re-open immediately afterwards so there will be minimum disruption to motorists," he said.
