Woman struck by car escapes serious injury

A female pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car at around 5.45pm this evening on Rathmines Road in Dublin, gardaí have said.

The woman, who is believed to be in her 40s, was brought to hospital but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
