Mayo islands to vote on Fiscal Treaty

Voting is getting underway this morning on the Mayo islands of Inisturk, Inisbiggle and Clare Island, two days ahead of the mainland.

Between the three islands, almost 200 people are eligible to cast their votes today in the EU Fiscal Treaty referendum.

Polling stations on the Mayo islands will be open from 10am to 8pm today.
