HSA to investigate death of Clare farmer

Officials from the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) are due to visit Co Clare today, where an elderly farmer died after being kicked by a cow.

Officials from the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) are due to visit Co Clare today, where an elderly farmer died after being kicked by a cow.

It is reported that the 74-year-old man was kicked a number of times by the animal at a farm in Clonina near Cree at around 11am yesterday morning.
