Further clearance of Dublin to Cork road

Drivers on the M8 Dublin to Cork Road are being advised that the motorway has now reopened between junction 3 and 4.

However, the soundbound lane between junctions 4 and 8 will remain shut for at least another two hours.

There was an oil spill there earlier today.

Motorist are being urged to take an alternative route.
