Audit reveals security shortfalls at Dublin Airport

It has emerged that a European audit has identified problems with security arrangements at Dublin Airport.

Ryanair said it was notified of the development late last night.

As a result, extra security procedures will be imposed on planes leaving Dublin and arriving at EU airports.

Chief Executive of Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, has said he will be looking for more clarity from the Department of Transport on how it will affect people.
