Man in hospital after Donegal punishment-style attack
A 39-year-old man is being treated in hospital after being shot in an incident in Co Donegal last night.
Gardaí say the victim was shot after at least two armed and masked men entered a house at Legnatraw, St Johnston in Letterkenny between 10pm and 10.30pm last night.
The injured man was taken to Letterkenny hospital where his condition is described as not life-threatening.
A woman who was in the house at the time was not injured in the incident.
A technical examination is now being carried out on a silver 4x4, which was later located at Moness, about a mile from the scene.
It is understood the injured man was originally from Derry and had been living in the rented house for a number of months.
