Customs arrest man during €96k cannabis seizure

Customs officers have seized around €96,000 worth of herbal cannabis in Rosslare.

Eight kilogrammes of the drugs were found hidden in a vehicle which had just come off a ferry from France during a routine patrol.

A scanner and sniffer dog was used during the search.

A Lithuanian man in his 20s was arrested and is being held at Wexford Garda Station.
