Man charged with Rostas murder due in court

A 33-year-old man charged with the murder of Romanian teenager Marioara Rostas is due back in court today.

Alan Wilson of New Street Gardens, Dublin 8 is accused of killing the 18-year-old at a house on Brabazon Street on January 8, 2008.

Her remains were found in a shallow grave in Kippure, Co Wicklow last January following a 13-day search operation by gardaí.

A post mortem revealed that she had been shot.

She had been missing for four years.
