Drugs, cars, vans and cash seized in Carlow operation
Four men have been arrested after a major drugs haul in Carlow town last night.
€650,000 worth of cannabis herb was seized along with four vehicles and a substantial amount of cash.
The drugs were discovered after gardaí stopped and searched a number of vehicles in a yard on the outskirts of Carlow town at around 7.30pm yesterday.
The drugs, two cars and two vans were seized in the operation. It is understood that around €20,000 in cash was also seized.
Four men - two in their 30s, one in his 20s and one in his 50s - were arrested by gardaí at the scene.
The men are being questioned at Carlow and Thomastown garda stations under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
