Gardaí release man held in relation to Donegal murder

A man in his 50s who was being held at Buncrana garda station in relation to the murder of Andrew Allen in Donegal has been released without charge this morning.

A man in his 50s who was being held at Buncrana garda station in relation to the murder of Andrew Allen in Donegal has been released without charge this morning.

Twenty-four-year-old Andrew Allen, who was originally from Derry, was shot dead in his home at Links View Park in Buncrana on February 9.

The man who was released this morning is from the North.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
