Investigation underway after fire on Dublin's Camden St

A fire broke out overnight at a derelict building in Dublin city centre, causing extensive damage to the structure.

No one was injured and the blaze had now been extinguished.

Several units of the fire brigade attended the scene on Camden Street at around 1.30am today.

The Fire Service and Gardaí are investigating.

It was the second derelict building in Dublin City Centre to go on fire in a matter of weeks.

A blaze broke out at a derelict building at the corner of Benburb Street and Queen Street in March.
