Two men are due in court in Dublin this morning in connection with a massive drugs haul on Thursday.

Two men are due in court in Dublin this morning in connection with a massive drugs haul on Thursday.

They were arrested after heroin with an estimated street value of €1.35m was seized by officers.

The drugs were found in a car which was stopped on the Old North Road in Finglas as part of an operation into organised crime.

The men - aged in their early 50s and 60s - were arrested at the scene on Thursday and are due before the Bridewell District Court in Dublin later this morning.
