Two charged in connection with €1.5m drugs seizure
Two men have been charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin yesterday morning.
They were arrested after heroin with an estimated street value of €1.5m was seized by officers.
The drugs were found in a car which was stopped on the Old North Road in Finglas at around 2am yesterday morning, as part of an operation targeting organised crime.
The men, aged in their early 50s and 60s, were arrested at the scene and were held at Finglas Garda Station overnight.
They are due to appear at the District Court in the Bridewell tomorrow morning charged in relation to the incident.
