A new service for children, whose parents are separated and who cannot agree on arrangements for the child, has been launched in Dublin.

The Child Contact Centre service is provided by children's charity Barnardos and the organisation for one parent families, One Family.

The centre's aim to provide a safe, neutral and friendly space where children can spend time with the parent or parents they don't live with.

The scheme is only in a pilot phase at present, and director of One Family, Karen Kiernan, has said they hope to expand it nationwide.
