Game workers to brief TDs on redundancy situation
Some of the workers at Game, who are engaged in a sit-in at the company's Irish stores, are visiting Leinster House this afternoon.
The workers, who say they have been refused redundancy payments after being laid off this week, will brief an all-party group on their current situation.
The workers will also attend a debate on the issue in the Dáil, which has been raised by Sinn Féin TDs Seán Crowe and Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin.
Workers engaged in the sit-in say they will continue with their action until they hear from administrators about redundancy payments.
A total of 121 jobs will be lost in the Republic, with another 110 being shed in the North, as just three stores remain open there.
