Vita Cortex staff meet in solidarity with protesting GAME workers
GAME workers at the company's Irish stores have vowed to continue their sit-ins until they hear from administrators about redundancy payments.
Staff have been sitting in at a number of the company's stores since it announced that all of its branches in Ireland are to close.
Up to 121 jobs will be lost in the Republic of Ireland with another 110 going in the North as just three stores remain open there.
In Cork, several workers from the Vita Cortex plant, who have been staging a sit-in since December, met with GAME workers at the Mahon Point branch yesterday in a show of solidarity.
