Junior Minister Joe Costello has called for a referendum to change the Constitution so that politicians found guilty of misconduct can have their pensions withdrawn.

He was commenting on the publication of the Mahon Tribunal report, which found that former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern failed to truthfully account for some of his funds.
