Gardaí set to re-open case of missing six-year-old girl

The disappearance of a six-year-old girl 35 years ago is set to come back into the spotlight.

The Irish Independent has reported that a garda cold case report on the case of Mary Boyle from Co Donegal is due within weeks.

The twin disappeared in Cashelard in 1977.

It is thought she had been following her uncle across boggy fields to a neighbour's house but turned back along the way and was never seen again.
