Two arrested after machete-chase incident in Ennis

Two men have been arrested after an incident in Co Clare in which a man was chased through a national school by masked men wielding a machete.

The incident happened at the Holy Family Junior School in Ennis at lunchtime.

A man who was waiting to collect a child had his car windows smashed and was chased by a gang.

He escaped to safety through a packed classroom.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
