Dublin taxi driver robbed at gunpoint

Gardaí are investigating after a Dublin taxi driver was robbed at gunpoint.
The driver picked up a passenger on Gardiner St in the city centre at around 4am and drove him to Tyrrelstown.
When the passenger arrived at his destination he produced a handgun and demanded cash, a phone and the car keys from the driver.
He then drove away in the taxi, a Silver Toyota Avensis.
The driver was not injured during the incident.
