The jury has gone out in the trial of a Wicklow farmer charged with murdering his brother.

Cecil Tomkins is accused of shooting 66-year-old Walter Tomkins at their farmhouse in Cronlea, Shillelagh on July 1, 2010 in a row about their mother's burial.

The 63-year-old is wheelchair bound due to Parkinson's disease and now resides at a nursing home.
