It has been reported that more than 2,000 people turned out for a protest in Co. Donegal today against cuts in the education sector, including changes to the pupil-teacher ratio.

Protestors gathered at the Market Square in Letterkenny to hear addresses from the President of the Irish National Teachers Organisation Noreen Flynn, the Reverend John Deane and Fr John Joe Duffy of Arranmore Island.
