Hundreds attend Donegal protest over educational cutbacks

Hundreds of parents, teachers and community groups have turned out for a protest in Donegal this afternoon in opposition to cutbacks to education.

The demonstration was taking place in the Market Square in Letterkenny.

The rally was to be addressed by a number of speakers including the INTO president Noreen Flynn, the Reverend John Deane and Fr John Joe Duffy of Arranmore Island.
