Elderly woman killed in Roscommon crash

An 82-year-old woman has been killed in a single vehicle road crash in Co Roscommon.

The crash happened on the Boyle to Ballymote Road just after 10am today.

The woman was taken to Sligo General Hospital where she later died.

The road remains closed and witnesses are being asked to come forward.
